I did try to do a shape with the kiwi, but it was actually very hard,luckily it was the opposite with the watermelon, I just pressed down lightly and it worked really well. It would of been a good idea to of done this when the kiwi was a little more ripe maybe,but then all of the other fruit would of gone off, so I just risked it,and it kind of worked. The really cute tray was from Aldi so I'm afraid I don't think it will be there anymore, but you might be able to find one similar in supermarkets like Asda or Sainsburys.
I didn't actually use cutters for fruit while doing this,i used mini cookie cutters, which i bought from sainsburys for only four pounds and they worked like a treat;)!
You actually get 12 mini cookie cutters, but as you can see, the little pot you get (which comes with a metal lid) to keep them in, is really awkward to put every single one back,because its a circle,so i just chucked one of the boring ones out, and its now much easier to put them away. the one i threw away was a semi circle because i realised that this one wouldn't come in much use to me as i would prefer a heart shaped cookie/piece of fruit than a semi circle.
Seriously how cute are the watermelons though, they were by far my favourite. And i thought that they deserved their own photo because they are just to cute! If i could of then i would of not ate them, and just preserved them, then frame them in my bedroom! They look cool as well because,you can see patterns in them,they kind of look like finger prints.when you look closely you can tell that every single one is different and unique, just like finger prints, i hope that everyone knows not just our fingerprints are unique, but we are unique too!
